[pat & karen harrell]
Pastor Pat oversees the Thrive Group Ministry, and Karen provides leadership to the Welcome Team. Pat and Karen have experience with and a passion for developing Biblical community by incorporating the support and spiritual growth that can only be found by connecting with one another through a strong, healthy, and growing small group ministry. It’s not just Bible study. Jesus modeled this ministry principle with His disciples. He taught and prayed with them, ate with them, talked to them. He developed friendships with them to the point He told them, “no longer do I call you servants, but I call you friends.”
Pastor Pat earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary. He is ordained by the Acts 2 Network.
Pastor Pat and Karen were married in April, 2002 in Pat’s hometown of Edenton, NC. Together they have four daughters and one son, nine granddaughters and two grandsons. They enjoy spending time with friends around a campfire, as well as traveling.
[Dewayne & Debbie Lambert]
Pastor Dewayne oversees the outreach ministry at Thrive Church. He and his wife Debbie have a passion and calling to connect with people that might not find their way into the church building. At Thrive, the goal is to reach out to everyone and share the love of Jesus with them. The mission field is right here in our own back yard! Partnering with Mercy Drops to serve the homeless, working on establishing a Christ-centered recovery program, and reaching out to everyone from bikers to business men and women are a few of the things that drive Dewayne and Debbie. To them, the very heart of outreach is the compassion they feel for those who don't yet know Christ.
Pastor Dewayne is ordained with the Acts 2 Network.
He and Debbie were high school sweethearts and have been married since April of 1983. They have two sons, and two little dogs that are way too spoiled. They also enjoy camping, and spending time on the motorcycle. They both are part of a motorcycle ministry called Bikers For Christ.
